Hello! My name is Swagat, and I am passionate about learning new technologies.

I am currently working as a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati, India.

I am working under the supervision of Dr. Moumita Patra. My research interest includes Vehicular ad hoc networks, Cloud computing, and Machine learning.

My research focus is on load balancing in Road Side Units (RSUs). Here, my focus is on virtual machine placement and migration on RSUs such that a maximum number of application requests complete their execution with minimum cost. I am working on different aspects of computing at the edge with minimum use of the central cloud in vehicular ad hoc networks.
